Photography 101 Assignment 2: Streets
I live in a small town. Our only street performer is the man holding the sign for a tax company. We don’t have any street markets. It’s basically a pretty boring town on a good day. Due to the rain, most people were not outdoors right now. So, after driving around looking for inspiration for a while, my son and I opted to grab a Sonic burger and head to the park to eat it. That is when I found it. The sign. My goal was to focus on the sign & fuzzy the background a little bit. Obviously, I didn’t achieve my goal. Needless to say, I have a lot to learn.
My 17 year old son is an introvert. He is a lot like me. I have been trying to get him interested in learning blogging & photography with me. (He is an excellent writer. But, maybe I am a bit biased.) Below is a photo that he took on a whim while in motion in the car & through the front windshield.
He said, “See, I could be a pictureographer.” And I laughed. He quickly came back, “Wait, it’s photographer. I knew that didn’t sound right.”
Love that boy!
