I am not new to trying anything new (or new to me) for weightloss. And, I have lost many pounds in my lifetime … only to regain them all back and then some. Lately, I have reconnected with some old friends and “found” some new friends on facebook. And, the 30 day shred with Jillian Michaels is spreading on there like wildfire! While most are almost finished with their 30 day shred, I am just starting. Not wanting to buy another video to just sit on my shelf until I sell it at the next yard sale, I find that I must analyze and research before I start. In hindsite, I would be almost done with the 30 days, too. But, what can I say? haha!
The day had come where I had all “tools” in hand – my laptop, video & hand weights. I weighed and measured myself. (I skipped the photos because I have all too many before and very few afters) And, I had decided that this WAS the day I would start. I procrastinated ALL morning.
But, I finally did it!
Now, I would like to say how wonderful this video is … but as I sit here drenched in sweat, hands shakey and just now beginning to finally not feel like I am going to throw up (TMI, right?)- I think I will hold out on all judgements. I will say that about half way through the workout as my knees wobbled and I dry heaved, I truly felt like one of Jillian’s new recruits on the Biggest Loser Ranch.
So, level 1, day 1 mission complete! Now that’s something to brag about!
