Today, I was clicking through some old photos that I had scanned from my childhood scrapbook. I laugh!! I am the one in the purple and white in the center. We were part of the yearbook staff in junior high. Every year we went to a yearbook camp at San Angelo State University. It usually coincided with the Houston Oilers football training camp. Now, I have never been “into” football or sports in general. But, everyone knew the Oilers. And everyday at lunch, we could see them in a separate part of the cafeteria eating their lunch. On this particular day, we spotted them leaving the lunchroom. We were a bunch of giddy girls. But, they took the time to take photos with us. I cannot remember the names of these two players. But, Earl Campbell took this photo. I had a photo with him in it, also. But, my brother was a big fan. So, I gave him the photo. Oh, the memories!
Update: I found another photo that I didn’t know I still had. I remember thinking they are so big! haha!
