Book Angels

You may remember me telling you about the craft party I had with my ex co-workers. While they were here, I showed them some of my other ideas. Yesterday, I got a call from one of those ex co-workers to order a book angel as a gift for one of her friends. What an honor!

So, today I set out to make the angel. Her friend sings gospel songs. A hymnal was appropriate for this occasion. I was lucky enough to already have a hymn book folded. So, I had to only add the finishing touches. Once finished, I wish I had included more color. I may try another one later.

Angels can be made out of a variety of books to match the person or occasion. This is a birthday angel.

Directions are easy! I would be happy to supply them to anyone who is interested! Tutorial coming soon!

About nonnymoose2014

I have recently retired from the healthcare field, nursing. As I try to figure out what I want to be when I grow up, this seemed like the perfect time to try my hand at blogging again. In the past, my success (or lack thereof) I believe hinged on my fear of revealing too much about myself. I have a desire to “put it all out there” BUT I want to do it on my own terms … anonymously! Thus came Nonny Moose.

  7. Please send the instructions. I am looking for a keepsake Mother Daughter Craft. I remember making Christmas trees and candles when my sister was a scout. These are really cute and I think I could spin them into a nice keepsake.
